Diabolic Plot To Stop Bankole From Returning To House Of Reps Unveiled

Just as Hon Dimeji Bankole, the former
speaker of the House of Representatives
appear set to return to the House following
indication of a favourable judgment at the
Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abeokuta,
a diabolical plot to stop him at all cost have
been uncovered.
In a case file by PDP against Segun Williams
of A.C.N, the PDP have been able to adduced
evidence of over voting where the number
of voter for Williams exceeds the number of
registered voters in several polling units.
From calculations before the tribunal, if the
votes in these polling units are nullified, then
Bankole would have won the election
against Williams by a margin of some 4000
votes.
It was this situation that prompted an all
night meeting last Friday September 23 in
Abeokuta under the auspices of Chief Segun
Taiwo, a chieftain of A.C.N and the Oluwo of
Ake. Sources at the meeting said Chief Taiwo
who is the major sponsor of Williams told
the meeting that feelers at his disposal
indicate that Bankole may reclaim his seat at
the lower federal legislature as the
evidences at the tribunal are damning and
even an appeal would fail in due course.
The situation is made worse as William is
said not to be the candidate of the Governor
Ibikunle Amosun while the godfather of the
party Chief Olusegun Osoba was said to
have washed his hand of the case when a
criminal aspect of the case alleging William
to be in government employment almost
right to the election was revealed as part of
the preparation for the election petition.
It was gathered that the plot was to use
diabolical means in form of ritual sacrifices
“ebo” around Abeokuta and inside the
premises of the tribunal to truncate the
tribunal judgment. And diabolically, a
propaganda war using A. C.N operatives
would be mounted to link the sacrifices to
the family members of Bankole.
Further to this there is another plot to
disrupt the delivery of the judgment with a
planned use of “juju’ on supporters of
Bankole to make them strip naked in court
among other diabolical means against
tribunal members.
And to further the propaganda to damage
Bankole, some youth that return guns
following the appeal of Governor Amosun
are to be bribed to claim that their gun was
given to them by Bankole for the election
which they did not return.
The details of the Friday night meeting
which was leaked to Bankole supporters is
causing serious apprehension and tension
in the state capital as many are now
regretting the loss of not voting Bankole
Back to the House in view of the numerous
projects he facilitated to Ogun state some of
which are now being abandoned..
According to an Abeokuta resident “Even if
Bankole return as an ordinary member, he
will still be able to influence the completion
of most of this project as a former leader of
the legislature. One of such project is the
Abeokuta Airport which is now almost
